PATRICK DION

- Began public service career as assistant and advisor to a Toronto-area Member of Parliament.
- Served as legislative assistant to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance; policy analyst with the federal Finance Department’s International Trade Policy Division; and legislative and communications advisor to the Secretary of State for International Financial Institutions.
- Currently serves as Chair of the Board of City of Ottawa-owned Pine View Municipal Golf Course and is a member of the Board of Directors of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc.,
- Chosen as one of Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2006.
DAN FLORIZONE
- Dan Florizone has almost twenty-five years of experience in the health care sector.
- Previously served as the CEO of the Five Hills Health Region. He also held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister in Saskatchewan Health and CEO for Moose Jaw-Thunder Creek Health District, and the South-East Health District.
- Mr. Florizone has extensive experience across the province having held senior positions in the health sector in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Recently, he served as the Chairperson of the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council. He is currently a Board Member on the Canadian Patient Safety Institute.
- Holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
DANA HEIDE
- Appointed as Assistant Deputy Minister, NWT in February 2008.
- Represents all three Territories on the Mental Health Commission.
- Prior to this appointment, led a number of Government-wide initiatives.
- Has served as the Director of Child and Family Services, Director of Integrated Community Services and the Director of Mental Health.
KEVIN MCNAMARA
- Deputy Minister of Health and Wellness, Government of Nova Scotia.
- Chair of the Provincial/Territorial Deputy Minister’s Council.
- Provincial/Territorial representative to Canada Infoway.
- Former Deputy Minister, Department of Environment and Labour.
- Former Chief Executive Officer of South Shore Health.
- Former Vice President of Human Resources, Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.
- Former Executive Director and key player in the creation of the Cobequid Multi Service Centre, the first free-standing Emergency Health Centre in North America.
- Throughout his career, Kevin has played a strategic role effecting change in organizations.
GLENDA YEATES
- Ms. Glenda Yeates was appointed Deputy Minister of Health Canada on April 19, 2010, after serving as Associate Deputy Minister of Health Canada since May of 2009.
- Prior to this appointment, Ms. Yeates served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) from August 2004 to April 2009.
- Previously, she served as the Deputy Minister of Health in Saskatchewan (1999 to 2004), and as Deputy Minister of Social Services (1997 to 1999). She held various Assistant and Associate Deputy Minister positions in Saskatchewan Health from 1990 to 1997, and a number of senior posts in the Saskatchewan Department of Finance.
- Ms. Yeates has served in the past as chair of the Federal/Provincial/Territorial Advisory Committee on Health Services, as co-chair of the National Children's Agenda and as a board member of the Health Council of Canada and the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation.
CINDY STEVENS

Ms Stevens’ background in public sector management with the Manitoba government spans more than 25 years.

Ms Stevens was appointed a deputy minister in the Manitoba government in 2011 and was named Deputy Minister of Healthy Living, Seniors and Consumer Affairs in January 2012.

Ms Stevens was the Assistant Deputy Minister of Communications Services Manitoba for 14 years where she managed strategic communications planning, issues management, media relations, advertising and marketing for the Manitoba government.

Ms Stevens has served on several community boards In Manitoba and has volunteered in many other capacities with not-for-profit, social and health care organizations.
