As the Commission moves forward with its projects, it needs the insight and expertise of people who are interested in the field of mental health. The Commission will therefore use local advisory committees to help in each of the five research cities.
The committees are currently being formed, and will provide advice, input and feedback to the local project teams on behalf of a wide range of interested groups. The idea is to ensure that aspects of each city are properly acknowledged and considered.
These committees will consist of local site coordinators, government officials, local service providers and individuals with lived experience of mental illness and/or homelessness.
