Geoff Couldrey
- Geoff has over 20 years experience in information systems management, software development and IT project management.
- Highly experienced in web technology, applications and websites.
- Prior to becoming Vice-President at the Commission, Geoff was Director of Information Technology and responsible for the development of the MHCC’s
IT infrastructure as well as providing support for a number of initiatives and projects.
- Geoff has worked on the development of web applications including
e-commerce systems, electronic publishing, online newspapers and large multimedia database applications in the academic reference field.
- Prior to joining the Commission, Geoff provided IT consultancy and support to various organizations in the not-for-profit sector in Calgary.
Vice-President, Public Affairs
Michelle McLean
- Formerly a corporate lawyer, Michelle has worked in Health and Public Affairs for the past five years.
- She has worked with both not-for-profit organizations and corporate clients to develop and deploy strategic communications programs that incorporate innovative social media and digital communications tactics.
- Michelle has also supported leading organizations in the creation and adoption of effective and powerful government relations and stakeholder relations programs.
- Before joining the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Michelle was a public affairs consultant with Hill & Knowlton, one of Canada’s leading public affairs and communications firms.
Vice-President, Partners for Mental Health
Jeff Moat
- Jeff is a bilingual marketing executive with 20 years of outstanding success in the not-for-profit, financial services, and petroleum industries.
- He has led the development of award-winning direct response television campaigns, customer acquisition programs, and international launch events.
- Prior to joining the Commission, Jeff was the National Director of Sales and Marketing for Canadian Blood Services where he oversaw all national sales and marketing programs, advertising campaigns, donor lifecycle management and brand building activities for the organization.
- Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
Vice-President, Mental Health and Homelessness
Cameron Keller, M.C.
- Cameron joined MHCC in January 2009 during the planning and development phase of At Home/Chez Soi, a $110 million research demonstration project in mental health and homelessness.
- Since joining MHCC, Cameron has provided project leadership through the selection of research and service partners through to project implementation and beyond.
- Former Director of a 25-bed short-term assessment and treatment center for adults diagnosed with a developmental disability and mental illness under the Mental Health Act in British Columbia, Cameron led the downsizing of this center to a 12-bed facility and returned many individuals to community settings who had become “stuck” in this short-term facility.
- Former Director of several provincial programs for children and youth in British Columbia including; autism funding, a broad range of programs for children and youth with special needs, child care programs and services and early years strategic planning.
- In addition to his professional background, Cameron has personal experience of mental health and homelessness through a close family member
- Holds a Bachelor of Theology degree and a Masters of Counseling from Trinity Western University.
