At Home/Chez Soi Winnipeg Project Launch a cultural treat

An elaborate Aboriginal celebration marked the official start of the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s At Home/Chez Soi Winnipeg project on November 23, 2009. The event was held at Thunderbird House, a special gathering place in the heart of the city.

Many local partners, media, and supportive community representatives were there.

The event was co-hosted by MHCC Vice-Chair Madeleine Dion Stout, and Winnipeg project site coordinator Marcia Thomson.
