As a convener and collaborator, the Mental Health Commission of Canada is leading the exchange of evidence-informed knowledge and promising practices to help provinces and territories respond to the mental health needs of refugees in Canada.

Together with the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Canadian Council for Refugees and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the MHCC hosted a government-sector round table on how best to support the mental health and well-being of refugees in Canada.

Upcoming events include the release of the Case for Diversity report and a conference on Fostering Resilience and Well-being with Immigrant, Refugee, Ethno-cultural and Racialized Populations.

Through committed leadership, strategic alignment across sectors, and additional resources, Canada can provide refugees with the services and supports they need.
