On October 12, 2011, the MHCC launched the Guidelines for Comprehensive Mental Health Services for Older Adults in Canada, which are designed to support people who work with seniors and who are involved in service and policy planning for the future. The Guidelines were created through the work of the MHCC's Seniors Advisory Committee. Chair Marie-France Tourigny-Rivard, MD, introduced the Guidelines at the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry (CAGP) Annual General Meeting in Vancouver BC.
