Value and efficacy: Expanding access to counselling, psychotherapies and psychological services
Description: One in five people living in Canada will experience a mental health problem or illness each year. Yet there is no universal insurance coverage for counselling, psychotherapies, and psychological services in Canada. Increasing access to evidence-based counselling, psychotherapies and psychological services would address unmet mental health needs in Canada, and makes good economic sense. Join the MHCC for a 4-part webinar series, running from September to December 2017, exploring policy considerations for expanding access.
